IUS PayPlan Group Income Protection Insurance
Here are some details of the policy.
- PayPlan protects members' incomes and pays an agreed percentage of income, usually including overtime and allowances, for up to 104 weeks.
- The waiting period before benefits are payable vary.
For football injuries the waiting period is 28 days.
- Cover is worldwide, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- In the event of injury, cover and benefits are to age 70. In the event of
sickness, cover and benefits are to age 65.
- Complications arising out of pregnancy are covered. (Conditions apply).
- Work Journey cover.
- Usual occupation policy.
- Claims continue to be paid if employment ceases after you make a claim subject to acceptable medical certification.
- A Homemaker's Allowance of up to $200 per week for up to ten weeks.
- A Worker's Compensation Top-Up after the minimum waiting period of 26 Weeks. (Varies from State to State)
- 30 days' cover between jobs
